This table was created for a Rocket Scientist and draws inspiration from interplanetary travel and space exploration. Using textured dyed black ash creates a feeling of deep space and geometric quarter-sawn oak floats like a planet on the surface of the ash. This piece is part of the Erosion series, examining the relationship between organic and geometric, man-made and nature-made.
